PAYMENTS & RETAINERS

All payments and retainers must be paid by the due date listed on your invoice. Payments may be made earlier to secure your requested event date.
Orders are not considered booked or confirmed until the required retainer has been paid. Until payment is received, your requested event date and pickup or delivery time are not guaranteed.
All retainers are non-refundable and will be applied toward the final balance of your order.

In the event of a cancellation, all retainers and payments made are non-refundable. However, payments may be eligible to be transferred as a credit toward a future order when proper notice is provided.
Wedding and groom’s cake orders require at least 30 days’ notice prior to the originally scheduled event date to be eligible for an order credit.
All other orders require at least 14 days’ notice prior to the originally scheduled event date to be eligible for an order credit.
Cancellations made after the required notice period will result in the forfeiture of all payments made, and no credit will be issued.
Any approved order credit must be used within one year of the original event date and is subject to availability.
Order credits may be applied toward a maximum of two (2) separate future orders. After the credit has been applied to two orders, any remaining unused balance will be forfeited and cannot be transferred, refunded, or applied toward any additional orders.
Order credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the original client.
All payments are non-refundable, and no additional refund requests will be considered.

Once an order has been picked up and leaves the possession of Tiphani’s Cakery, the client assumes full responsibility for the proper handling, transportation, and storage of the order.
Tiphani’s Cakery is not responsible for any damage that occurs after the order has been picked up or transferred into the client’s possession.

All delivery orders must be paid in full at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time.
Tiphani’s Cakery will not depart for or complete a delivery until the order has been paid in full.
Once an order has been successfully delivered and set up, when applicable, Tiphani’s Cakery is not responsible for damage resulting from improper handling, environmental conditions, venue conditions, or actions by guests, venue staff, or other vendors.

Products made by Tiphani’s Cakery are prepared in a kitchen where common allergens are present and may come into contact with ingredients including, but not limited to, milk, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens.
While we take care when preparing our products, Tiphani’s Cakery cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform Tiphani’s Cakery of any known food allergies or dietary concerns before placing an order. It is also the client’s responsibility to inform anyone consuming the purchased products of any potential allergens.
By placing an order, the client acknowledges and accepts the potential risk of allergen exposure.
